Karimpalan vaidyan who was a legend in the north malabar in eighteenth century, had a vast experience in the field of ayurveda and had a wide range of patients from in and outside the state.He was very popular among the people of north malabar and outside the places like coorg(Kodagu),mysore etc.His niece and the favourite disciple Late Govindan Vaidyan attained indeapth knowledge and experiences from his uncle during his early life itself. After the time period of Karimplan vaidyan, Late Govindan Vaidyan who became a luminary in ayurvedic treatment started practicing ayurveda at his home place Pallipoyil a small village in Kannur District .As the years passed with his in-depth knowledge dedication and vision, many incurable diseases got cured . Govindan Vaidyan's fame spread throughout Kerala by his dedicated service to the patients .He was the last resort to the patients suffering from infertilty at that time and many of the people from inside and outside the state got gathered in his clinic . The foot steps of the great father is followed by his illustrious son Dr.O.K.Narayanan who attained and mastered the essence of Ayurveda especially infertilty since childhood from his father. Later in the year 1967he completed formal education from Kottakal ayurveda college and .With the noble intention of serving the common people Dr O.K.Narayanan joined Govt service(ISM Department)in the year 1973. During his tenure of more than 25 years he rendered his services selflessly reaching out especially to the poor and needy. With the scarcity of Ayurvedic medicines especially for fertilty and due to the lack of proper infrastructure for treatments, Dr.O.K.Narayanan set up his own hospital wIth all facilities for treatments and production of Ayurvedic medicines with GMP certification in 2005. Now he is the. present Chief Physician and Managing Director of the hospital, who is playing a leading role in the modernization and development of the hospital. Under the able guidance of Dr.O.K.Narayanan the hospital has reached unprecedented heights of popularity Now his two sons Dr.Niketh Narayanan M.S(Ayu) and his wife also joined with him to support and promote his dream to achieve a new generation having a healthy family and nation.
